THE MAN, THE CHEF: "DC"
Chef DC's passion for food began in his high school Home Ec class
and continues today.
Since high school, the food service industry has played an important role in his life.
In 1992, Chef DC opened DC's Café, a small restaurant in North Dallas. Within the year, the restaurant gained rave reviews and often the lunch crowd lines wrapped around the building. Ultimately, Chef DC relocated to a larger facility near Downtown Dallas and the reviews and fans followed him there. His restaurant was frequently reviewed in local newspapers and magazines and was selected "Best of" by the Dallas Observer for several consecutive years.
While the restaurant continued to grow, Chef DC launched the full service catering portion of his business. Excited by the challenge of preparing food for thousands, Chef DC eventually closed the restaurant to focus on his catering business full time. A perennial favorite of Dallas' elite, Chef DC operates a successful catering company and over the years has included in his client list many notable names including the Dallas Cowboys.
